Twin Lakes​

The location is central to the Juneau area, being halfway between the Mendenhall Valley and Downtown Juneau. From here, you'll have views of the Gastineau Channel, Douglas Island, and the surrounding mountains.​​​

A variety of wildlife can be spotted here, including eagles, ravens, black bear, squirrels, and porcupine. This location is great all day during the summer, especially at sunset, as it receives sun exposure all day long. During the winter, the sun dips behind the mountains earlier, making mid day better for lighting in the colder months.
