Gold Creek Valley​

Here you'll find tons of trails up Mount Juneau and Mount Roberts as well as a beautiful drive along Gold Creek. This area has great views of waterfalls, color changing forests, towering mountains all around, old gold mine ruins, and of course, the infamous Gold Creek. Located just at the back of the valley, you can explore the Last Chance Mining Museum, gold panning, and even an old mine entrance.

A variety of wildlife can be spotted here, including eagles, ravens, black bear, squirrels, and porcupine. This is a great location for autumn photos as the changing leaves and gushing creek give off so many great colors.
