North Douglas
From the boat launch to Outer Point, North Douglas has beautiful views of Fritz Cove, various islands, Mendenhall Glacier, and numerous mountains. The northwestern facing waterfronts allow for some incredible sunsets.
A variety of wildlife can be spotted here, including eagles, ravens, black bear, deer, marmots, sealions, and whales. This is a great location for golden hour sunset and ocean front shots. And the temperate rainforest along the handful of trails that sprinkle the coastline provide great backdrops for whimsical, wooden photos.
