At Silver Lens Photography, we try to offer uncomplicated and affordable portrait options to the beautiful Alaskan Capital. If you're looking to have your high school senior photos done, update your own portrait, take a couple group photos for your company website, get some great shots of the family for this year's Christmas card, or capture once in a lifetime events, we have got you covered.

Our main goal is to provide a stress-free and simple portrait service to our wonderful community. We know Juneau is a location that draws in lots of tourism and destination weddings, but not everyone can afford the destination prices. We don't believe that getting your photos taken should cost a small fortune or include complicated contracts with hidden fees. We want to eliminate all the stress and complications when you set out to fulfill your photo needs. With us, you pay for the initial package that includes a free USB drive or Google folder of all your unedited and edited photos. No limits on photos, locations, or the number of people that can be included in your session. The only thing we will charge you extra for are prints, canvases, and other photo art. This means no booking deposits or cancellation fees.

Our main photographer is Cheyenne Girmscheid. She has been doing photography since the 8th grade when she received her first Nikon camera. Cheyenne found her interest of portrait photography in 2014 and started out helping friends and family with some of their photo needs. She has experience with senior/yearbook photos, family/group portraits, couple/engagement photos, maternity photos, newborn/baby photos, professional headshots, wedding/proposal/event photography, and boudoir. She also has multiple photography related classes under her belt, including digital media arts, yearbook, and digital photography. All of which included intensive exposure to Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Polarr, in-depth camera anatomy, and photo staging.

Our camera assistants include Kenny PaQuin and Suzanna Lessard. All of our camera assistants are professional on the job and are great when it comes to creative inspiration. We require a level of discretion with anyone who works with us, as some of our shoots are more private. This, of course, includes our wonderful assistants.
